Helping people understand themselves in ways that reduce shame and make change possible

Counselling, psychotherapy, anger management, clinical supervision and private counselling tuition in Kingston, South West London and online.

Making sense of your experience

Many people come to therapy believing that something is wrong with them.

Often, they discover that their thoughts, emotions and behaviour patterns make more sense than they realised. What once helped us cope or survive may now be limiting our choices, relationships or wellbeing. Understanding these patterns does not mean excusing or condoning harmful behaviour. Rather, it can help us understand how they developed, what purpose they may once have served, and how they might be changed.

The aspects of ourselves we struggle with most are often the ones that need understanding rather than rejection.

A Warm, collaborative approach

My approach is grounded in curiosity rather than judgement. Together, we can explore the experiences, emotions and relationship patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties, helping you develop greater understanding, choice and confidence.

I aim to offer a thoughtful, warm and collaborative environment where curiosity is encouraged, difficulties can be explored openly, and understanding can lead to greater choice, confidence and meaningful change.

How I work

I believe that understanding creates choice.

Many of the ideas that influence my work are connected by a common theme: curiosity. When we become curious about our thoughts, emotions, behaviour patterns and relationships, we often begin to understand ourselves differently.
